What we did

OSD requirements and concept layout for a small commercial site.

The site was a small mixed-use commercial development in the established suburbs of the City of Casey. The council's local OSD policy triggered on-site detention review as part of the permit-stage stormwater scope.

The work focused on the practical detention pathway: where storage could sit on the site, how the outlet arrangement would coordinate with the Legal Point of Discharge, and what information council needed to assess the permit application.

Concept layout, calculations, and CAD-compatible details were packaged with the planning permit application.

Outcomes

Buildable concept for council review.

  • OSD requirements translated into a permit-stage concept layout.
  • Storage and outlet arrangement coordinated with the broader site layout.
  • Council-facing documentation prepared for planning assessment.
